About the Job

As the Marketing Executive at Mackman, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and as part of the Content team. You will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of marketing projects for both Mackman and external clients.

Driving the development of Mackman Group’s portfolio of brands marketing activity
Devising and implementing business development plans for both Mackman and external clients 
Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
Job brief:

We’re looking for a passionate and talented marketer who is seeking to deliver marketing to the highest standard. You will be responsible for the development of marketing communications for both our brands and our clients. You will not be afraid to roll your sleeves up, deliver well planned and executed marketing campaigns, but will also be able to work well as a team and mentor junior staff.

Your role will also include the management of projects in Synergist, the tracking and analysis of the performance of marketing campaigns and associated budgets and ensuring that all marketing material is aligned with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with a range of marketing tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective projects. Ultimately, you will help build and maintain a strong and consistent brand for us and our clients through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution, a completer finisher is a must!
Utilise the full range of marketing channels and apply these to the right client and audience
Produce valuable and engaging content
Continue to develop the reputation and expertise of Mackman Group through digital visibility and business development activity
Oversee and approve content created by the Content team from digital content to hard copy brochures and case studies
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against objectives
Act as a first point of contact for clients, keeping an eye of the progress of projects and collaborating with the research, creative and technical teams as required

Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
Proven experience in identifying target audiences and tailoring activity to these audiences
Solid knowledge of websites, SEO and web analytics tools
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of key statistics
A keen eye for design and the ability to write great copy
A desire to keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
The confidence and assertiveness to liaise with key clients and senior contacts
CIM qualified
