Our world-class Total War team are seeking a Trainee Animator to join us at our UK Games development studio based in Horsham, West Sussex.

The successful candidate will work on our current and unannounced titles whilst being mentored by senior members of the team. In this role, you will have access to our learning and development portal as well as our bespoke Trainee Developer Program.
Flexible working at Creative Assembly includes hybrid, fully remote for eligible roles, and in-studio. We recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach and empower our teams to define the working patterns which work best for them, which may mean different things for different teams and roles and at different times.
This role is Hybrid and has an expectation of 2 days per week in our Horsham studio. This role cannot offer fully remote working. Further details can be discussed during the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Animator, you will create in-game animations from concept to polished animations working in-game and everything in between. Working closely with your animation supervisor, you will learn to work within set time constraints and to hit our high-quality benchmark. You will take onboard and implement feedback as appropriate.
Working knowledge of Maya or similar
Positive, can-do attitude
Willingness to working with and learn about motion capture
Some knowledge of rigging and skinning
Understanding of the interplay between game mechanics and animation
