To help us on our journey we’re looking for a Junior FP&A Analyst to join the growing FP&A function within our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the fastest growing software businesses in the UK.
Reporting into the FP&A Manager you will get involved with the budgeting and forecasting process, working collaboratively with other teams to help drive accountability across the organisation. You will also help to drive the improvement of processes and automation within the function as well as working on various ad hoc projects.
You will work closely with our Finance Operations function in order to help drive efficient reporting of data & KPIs across the business.
In order to succeed in the role, you will need to be highly analytical, data driven and a fast learner. There will be ample scope for career progression — with the business continuing to grow and expanding internationally, the FP&A function will grow accordingly.
What you’ll do:
The Junior FP&A Analyst role at Paddle will be highly varied and will tend to change with the demands of the business. Some examples of the things you’ll be involved in on a daily basis include:
Supporting the FP&A Manager with the annual budgeting cycle, helping to create a more efficient process, this will include assisting with financial modelling and working collaboratively with heads of departments and the Exec team.
Working closely with the finance operations team; this would include: dashboard reporting, pulling, analysing & visualisation of data.
Collaborating with teams across the business at all levels & responding to requests for financial information
Supporting with board and company wide results presentations
Assistance with investor reporting requests
Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required, e.g. pricing strategy or FX risk initiatives

We are looking for a enthusiastic self starter, who may not have tons of experience, but they are commercially minded, have a can-do attitude and are excited by the idea of working in a high growth environment that is constantly evolving
As well as having the right mind set, you should apply for the this role if you have:
Excellent Excel skills
New or recent graduate from a top university
Willingness to get stuck in and go the extra mile when necessary
It’d be great if…
You have some experience (e.g. internship or placement) working with excel models in a fast paced environment
You have a basic understanding of financial statements
Knowledge of SQL or other scripting skills
