About the role
Working alongside the Business Development Manager, and the rest of the sales and marketing team, your main responsibility is to support the development of our key target accounts through fostering relationships and promoting Source’s reports, services, and expertise. Here is what you will get up to day to day:
Working alongside BDM to grow key target accounts through fostering relationships
Develop long-term trusting relationships within new accounts to promote Source’s reports & expertise
Follow-up on responses / reply to inquiries from non-key targets and marketing leads
Support with meeting set up, sales-related paperwork and draft agreements
Ensure systems are up to date (e.g. Salesforce)
Report on sales achievements & monitor progress
Follow-up on conversations with clients by sending well-structured emails/proposals
Keep up to date with industry trends and relevant news/challenges for key target accounts
Conduct account research, from looking at latest developments to creating new contact lists
Contribute to reviewing and planning account activity
Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
Liaise closely with the marketing team to help execute Source’s business development strategy
What we are looking for
1+ years’ experience of account management/business development/sales experience
Knowledge of the sales cycle
Strong writing skills
Experience using a CRM system to drive & track relationships & campaigns
Strong interpersonal skills with an innate ability to foster strong relationships & build trust with clients
Quick to learn, understand, take on feedback and explain complex concepts and products.
