At Numan, we have doubled in size over the last few months. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking to build an exceptional team to help us deliver our ambitious plans.

Our ambitions are big – we’re working with top-tier investors to achieve them and we’re growing a team to surpass them. We’re hiring a Junior Copywriter to create SEO optimised copy for our blog, maintain the company’s tone of voice, and research and execute interesting, engaging articles.

What you’ll be doing:

Writing content that makes people feel excited about male health.
Crafting copy in our tone of voice, ensuring it is always consistent, engaging, jargon-free and human.
Switching seamlessly between long blog copy, quizzes, website copy, and FAQs (while you won’t mind doing the boring stuff, sometimes).
Proof-reading and editing other writers’ work from time-to-time.
Making sure all our copy is compliant with the intricacies of the pharmacy industry, while also remaining accessible and interesting.
Researching new, engaging topics for blog posts. You’ll be self-motivated and able to organise your time between researching interesting content ideas and executing them into SEO-optimised, engaging articles.
Reporting directly into the Content Lead, you’ll work as part of the product team.

Who you are:

Very confident expressing your ideas, while also happy to get your teeth into anything and work as part of a team.
Focused on attention to detail, with immaculate spelling and grammar skills.
Able to prioritise your own workload and highlight any potential issues that arise.
SEO focused – you know how to seamlessly optimise content for search.
Research driven – we’re looking for someone who enjoys researching and analysing journals, papers, interviews and podcasts to produce relevant, compelling content.
Passionate about making a difference – we offer treatments for conditions that can be sensitive, and often stigmatised. We’re looking to build an empathetic team of people who really care about what we’re doing, and who we’re helping.
A writer who can find the sweet spot between conversational, serious and playful copy with ease.
Your profile:

1+ year(s) of copywriting experience, either in-house or agency-side.
Experience optimising content for SEO.
A portfolio of varied, interesting work that demonstrates both an aptitude for long copy and flair for snappy headlines and ideation/conceptual work.
Proven experience crafting sparkling, straightforward customer-facing copy (and all the better if it started as dry, techy, or otherwise inaccessible subject matter).
Medical services/pharmaceutical sector experience would be great, but not essential.
Confidence and great communication. Our writers are the guardians of our tone of voice, so you should be happy to speak up and justify your decisions, fight for your ideas and develop relationships with departments and senior leaders company-wide.
A self-motivated and organised attitude. It’s fast-paced here, so you’ll need to be able to think on your feet and manage your time and projects.
