Why does Journee exist?
We believe the world will be a better place if we embrace our differences. Travel is the way to make that happen.
Done right, a trip to a destination with a unique culture will take you on a journey of personal growth. It will erode your prejudices and broaden your horizons. It will make you more understanding, accepting and ultimately loving.
And a world with more love in it is a much better place ♥️

How does Journee work?
Our Explorers fill in our 15 minute Trip Matchmaker form to build their travel personality. It includes budget, dates, where they don’t want to go, and most importantly, the things they like to do when they travel.
We then match them with an interesting destination and exciting trip based on their travel personality. We book and organise everything whilst sending fun clues to keep them guessing.
They then turn up to the airport X days later and reveal where they’re going! 🎉
What is this position?
There are two parts to this role.
Providing a world-class support experience (~50% of your time)
We offer everyone that fills in the Trip Matchmaker form a free Trip Proposal. It contains everything they need to know about their trip (apart from the destination obviously), including: dates, airport, times, budget, a teaser of their matched destination and a preview of what we’ve planned for them. Take a look at a Trip Proposal here. 40% of the time the potential traveller replies to us on email or WhatsApp with a question or suggested edit to their trip. Sometimes we need to rematch them to a new destination. You’ll be responsible for making changes to their Trip Proposal until they’re happy with it.
Then, after they’ve booked their trip, they may have further questions or edits to their trip. Or, they may need help when they’re actually on their trip. You’ll be responsible for providing support to these Explorers.
Researching and writing our what to explore and where to eat/drink recommendations (~50% of your time)
We started Journee to make exploring different cultures easy and exciting. During their trip, beyond the experiences we’ve booked for them, we want them to discover the most interesting, fun and unique aspects of their destination’s culture. To help them with this, we give them a Destination Guide and written itinerary full of the best places to see, and eat and drink at. You will be responsible for making these recommendations as good as they possibly can be – by researching, sourcing from our Explorers and writing them up.
