We’re ASOS. We blend our flair for fashion with our love of cutting- edge technology, but more importantly were interested in how we can bring the best out of you.
We exist to give people the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you’re free to be your true self without judgment, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.
Our Finance team is split into a number of departments including Commercial Finance, Financial Accounting, External Reporting, Finance Systems, Tax, Treasury and Accounts Payable.
Commercial Finance are responsible for short and long term forecasting of all KPIs, and providing insight and analysis to support or challenge business strategies. The team provides the business with detailed analysis on sales, costs, profitability and behavioural trends and is a vital support function to all departments across ASOS including Retail, Delivery Solutions, Marketing and International Territories.
The Financial Accounting & Reporting team prepares and reports on the historic financial performance of the business (i.e. how much profit or loss ASOS made and how this compares to last year, highlighting risks and opportunities).
This covers both monthly internal reporting & analysis as well as all aspects of external reporting as required for an AIM-listed company under IFRS (e.g. trading statements and external results presentations).
Finance Systems Team’s primary role is to support Financial Control & Reporting and Commercial Finance teams with projects across a wide range of Financial and Business Systems.
Tax – It is the responsibility of the tax department to ensure that the right amount of tax arising from our business activities is paid at the right time.
Treasury primarily manages the group’s cash and foreign exchange amongst a host of other ‘money related’ areas
The Accounts Payable team cover all payments for ensuring all invoices are paid on time.
Our three-year rotational graduate scheme will give you a broad view of our business giving you an insight into the inner workings of the ASOS Finance team. Of the three years, we will look to rotate you to get a varied experience across different teams.
No matter what your role, you will have the opportunity to impact our business and make changes for the better.
