Position Summary
The project manager ensures the timely production and execution of addressable content. This candidate will be the main point of contact on executional matters during the pre and mid-campaign flight periods.
Following approval of media plans, and content strategies, this person acts as the centralized point of contact amongst Strategy, Creative, Production, Technical, and Development teams and serving as a digital project manager amongst them all.
They should have a keen understanding of digital ad formats, client(s) brand guidelines, message objectives, and how to navigate multiple perspectives and workflows.
An understanding of the media planning process and the way specific tactics can play different roles within a particular plan(s) mix is also beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
Develop overall campaign delivery schedule based on milestones/campaign key dates
Serve as primary contact between cross-team collaboration, understand and communicate key deliverables, technical specifications, production and reporting requirements for all campaign components
Lead internal conversation on communication regarding creative or digital development
Prepare status reports and conduct internal and external status meetings to ensure on time project delivery
Work with vendors/partners to gather, maintain and track creative assets, confirm usage and distribute assets to creative agencies
QA, service and troubleshoot creative executions prior to launch. Monitor and troubleshoot campaign creative post-launch
Monitor project progress and communicate/propose solutions for potential risks with internal teams, or third party vendors
Provide direct feedback to publishers when executions do not meet expectations and/or violate previously established guidelines
Maintain working knowledge of Client(s) digital brand guidelines
Desired Skills & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
Work Experience:
4-6 years of previous relevant experience working as a project manager with a digital background
Skills:
Must-haves
Digital knowledge – understanding the media planning process and the digital ecosystem
Highly organized, capable of working on multiple campaigns with multiple publishers
Digital creative/content project management experience, managing campaign processes from start to finish
Preferred skills:
Technical understanding (Web development, or knowledge/understanding of addressable creative/dynamic creative and how it’s produced)
Knowledge of Photoshop, HTML5, Indesign,
Experience using Asana, MS Office, Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheets, Microsoft projects
Technical knowledge/understanding of HTML5 and how it produced
Thorough understanding of publisher specs & IAB standards
Technical knowledge/understanding of Addressable Creative/Dynamic Creative and how its produced preferred
Experience working at Creative in-house preferred
Knowledge of the media planning process preferred
Knowledge of emerging media (mobile, tablet, connected TV) preferred
Working knowledge of Photoshop, HTML5, Indesign, PPT, Excel, Jira, Smartsheets, Microsoft
