About the job
The Junior Research Analyst will support in the management of projects during all stages of the research process, they will be responsible for working on projects using a range of research approaches and, as such, an ability to pick up new approaches quickly and to work accurately and independently is important.

Our Research Analysts are the face of our research and working directly with research partners and clients is integral to the role, therefore an ability to communicate effectively, both internally and to clients, while working on multiple projects, is critical.

You will be based in our Blackfriars office in London, and will be part of the Research team working closely with the Custom Research Manager and other analysts in the Custom team, as well as people from other teams within the company. 

What you’ll be doing
Project Management

Follow operational framework for managing projects
Produce well designed / accurate outputs
Ensure deliverables (including questionnaires and reports) need progressively fewer edits or corrections over time as you become more experienced
Research Methodology Offer & Comprehension

Work on projects using a range of research approaches 
Demonstrate an ability to pick up new approaches quickly 
Communicate clearly to other people within the business
Client Management

Ensure effective communication with clients throughout project 
Ensure clear understanding of client project needs and goals 
Ensure client has access to up-to-date information
Costing, proposal management and business development

Understand costing principles/how calculators work 
Understand type of fieldwork (recontact versus fresh) 
Identify audiences on the platform for costing/proposal purposes
Product

Understanding platform and products 
Use on a regular basis, developing knowledge of all features and capabilities
Insight-led reporting

Produce charts that address objectives and are visually compelling
Demonstrate an insight-led approach, differentiating “facts” and “insights”
About you

Competencies
Some demonstrable commercial experience or understanding of market research.
Bachelor’s degree or more (or equivalent), ideally in a social analytical or marketing field (i.e. economics, psychology, sociology, business, marketing, etc.)
Experience writing and designing questionnaires
Demonstrate the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and produce outputs and deliver projects, efficiently and accurately
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (use of formulas required) and Microsoft PowerPoint. Basic skills for all other Microsoft Office Applications
Confident in working with large, and sometimes complex, datasets
Analytical background with experience bringing data to life through story telling
Outstanding attention to detail
