We are looking for bright, inquisitive graduates who are committed to pursuing a career in international pharmaceutical market research and consultancy.

We are recruiting Ad hoc Research Analysts to join our graduate programme, involved in both qualitative and quantitative ad hoc research.

Ad hoc Research Analyst job role (qualitative and quantitative research):

Responsibilities include:

Qualitative analysis – content analysis of qualitative in depth interviews and focus groups

Quantitative analysis – coding, data / table checking, charting of quantitative data

Briefing offreelancers (e.g. analysts, moderators, coders, link checkers)

Drafting research materials (screeners, discussion guides, questionnaires)

Face-to-face / telephone interviews with key respondents

Opportunity to attend viewed research days nationally or internationally

Day-to-day liaison with internal fieldwork team who oversee the management of fieldwork agencies and freelancers

Trouble-shoot field problems with internal fieldwork team, suggesting solutions

Ensure all fieldwork is conducted to time and budget

Development of expertise and knowledge in multiple disease areas

Opportunity to specialise in quantitative only research focusing on statistical analysis for those with suitable backgrounds

For ad hoc Research Analyst positions, we are looking for people with the following skills and attributes:


You are inquisitive and want to understand the “why”

You have good interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

You are proactive with a can-do attitude; able to identify issues and generate solutions

You have excellent organizational skills, are able to multi-task whilst maintaining a high level of focus on each task

You are creative and like seeking out novel solutions to client problems

You are numerate with a high degree of accuracy

You have, or are predicted, a 2.1 or 1st class honours degree (or equivalent) and have A-Level grades A*-C (or equivalent)

We encourage applicants with postgraduate degrees (e.g. MSc / MA programmes).

Ideally you have a degree in the sciences, management, social sciences (including history, geography and politics), mathematics or modern languages, but we are open to degrees from any background.

We will be recruiting these positions over the course of June / July 2020, with planned start dates in August or September 2020.

Coronavirus and the summer 2020 graduate interview process:

Research Partnership is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all of our team members and interview candidates; therefore, we will be conducting the entirety of our summer 2020 graduate recruitment process remotely to comply with UK government social distancing recommendations.

The interview process will take place in two stages:

A pre-recorded video interview using a third-party platform, Cammio.

If successful in Stage 1, we will invite you to participate in a virtual Assessment Day in July, involving research tasks, an interview with 2 Research Partnership Directors, as well as a chance for you to speak to recent graduate hires to find out more about the graduate programme at Research Partnership.
