About the Job

The SEM and SEO Junior Manager plays a key role in supporting Topodium Groups digital marketing offering, and wider business initiatives and objectives. In addition, the role specialises in search engine marketing and search engine optimisation, and also plays a key role in social media advertising.

The SEM and SEO Junior Manager is central to the planning, implementation and execution of PPC campaigns and SEO strategies across the exciting and varied breadth of Topodium Group partner accounts. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, the SEM and SEO Junior Manager will provide in-depth account performance reports and analytics to drive KPIs, alongside recommendations and adjustments where suitable.

As an SEM and SEO Junior Manager, you will be a skilled, self-motivated and highly organised individual who has a demonstrated track record of planning, implementing and delivering efficient and profitable high-budget PPC campaigns, alongside possessing competent SEO knowledge and experience. The SEM and SEO Junior Manager will have a can-do approach to learning, improving and applying their skills, embracing a confident and entrepreneurial spirit.


  • Oversee client/partner SEM and Social Media Advertising accounts (eg. Google Ads, Bing, Facebook Ads)
  • Launching, roadmapping and optimising successful PPC campaigns, driving inbound traffic that results in a high ROI/ROAS
  • Participating in forming effective paid search strategies
  • Involved in keyword research, selection and audience targeting
  • Track KPIs to assess performance
  • Provide contextual analysis and articulate success, recommendations and issues
  • Suggest new campaign ideas and spot untapped opportunities
  • Account reporting (e.g dashboards, monthly reports)
  • Knowledge and experience of social media advertising (eg. Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Overseeing daily campaign management and making adjustments to client/partner accounts as necessary
  • Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines
  • Identifying where traffic opportunities can improve revenue, increase margins, reduce costs and increase campaign profitability and efficiency
  • Implement SEO actions and strategies across websites, both on-page and off-page
  • Contribute to and clearly articulate SEO strategies, actions and recommendations
  • Contribute to the management of client/partner Google Analytics
  • Building on and maintaining digital marketing accreditations, such as Google Partner status
  • Contributing to blog and video content, award submissions and case studies
  • Analysing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
  • Writing effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts
  • Delivering white hat SEO strategies across websites
  • Developing and actioning link-building strategies

Skill Requirements:

  • Competent working knowledge of digital marketing concepts and SEO
  • PPC experience, primarily Google Ads and Bing, managing multiple accounts
  • Extensive working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience in, and clear understanding of CRO and digital marketing funnels
  • Working knowledge of optimising websites for white hat SEO strategies (predominantly WordPress)
  • Data analytics and reporting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills to analyse product performance, competitors, and sales data
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience with website optimisation tools to drive inbound traffic
  • Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO
  • Team player and confident, able to work collectively or independently as required, in a self-sufficient manner
  • Solid knowledge of WordPress websites is a plus
    Google Ads Certification is a plus
